recently relocated family in need of Christmas, or any type of help.

I am a recently divorced man with 2 sons that I have custody of. I lost my job and moved from ohio to be near my mother, who is also struggling with disabilities. Would like some help for my boys ages 3 and 7. It would be the first time they will have ever had a good Christmas with family around. Anything would be appreciated as we were unable to bring much with us. They have very few toys, and not very many clothes either.

please help....

Hi,
Im not real sure where to begin,it is a little difficult for me since i used to be the one looking to help others in need.
unfortunately, not only can i not help others right now, outside of prayer,i cannot even help my family.i am 44 yrs old,i have a 21 mo. old grandson who has been with me since his birth, along with his mother..he is the son of my son,who was put away 21/2 yrs ago.
now,my brother 47,who worked hard all his life til 2 yrs ago, stayed home to care for his wife who passed this year from cancer,so now he lives with me also, also my youngest son,23,was in a car accident, lost his job,and is under alot of medical care,is also living with me.and in the midst of this,my husband decided it was more than he could bare, and is leaving.i am not in good health, but i have alot of faith, and i am willing to work if i can.anything would really be appreciated in the way of clothing ,food,or a gift for my grandbaby for christmas.i know the true meaning of christmas, and i know that god will get me through this.all prayers will be most appreciated for my family.if it is possible to help, thankyou, and god bless you,if not, thankyou for your time and attention, and still god bless you.my email is letgonletgod@live.com,we live in ky.to all others in need,my prayers are with you,and never give up.keep your faith.

It's that time of year again. My special needs son Jacob is now 9 yrs old. I'm stll a waitress and working hard, however school clothes are still a challenge and united way was no help. I'm thinking there isn't much help for Christmas. If anyone knows of someone that can make Christmas a little special for my son I would never forget it. I don't make much but I send $20 a year to St. Jude. It's the least I can do. I will always pay it forward when I can. I live in Mi. 40 min. from Detroit. God bless all.

Help for pattiandliltommysmom

comment: Hi aidmates, I have been communicating with Char6 and she mentioned that she has sent a bos of food to one of our clients ..pattiandliltommysmom...Char sent a box of food that will tide the family over until she can get to the angelfood truck on the 22nd which Char got her signed up for. Now this is where the rest of us can help if we're so moved to do so. Her children need warm winter clothes, socks, underwear, warm shirts and pants and maybe even PJ's . If any of you have any childrens clothes or blankets or bath products Char6 has all the sizes and the address and all info you would need to get her help. As for myself, I'm calling my daughter and asking her to start filling a few boxes of clothes that the girls have grown out of. Also I have some adult clothes that I have saved from people giving us boxes of clothes after our house fire last year. I will have Char publish all the sizes aninclude adult sizes as well. I just wanted to bring this to alls attention so that maybe we could help thid mom out. She doesn't ask for money just food and clothes. She also lives out in the country so if any of you can help jplease do. I love you all and by the way: I'm very proud to know such an unselfish person such as Char6. thankyou all sincerely sheshe030
